About Soaring High Academy
Our Philosophy
Soaring High Academy believes learning is a lifelong process of exploration. Our philosophy of learning is rooted in belief that education is an active pursuit of knowledge rather than a reception of information. We believe that true understanding is created from curiosity, wonders, constructivist knowledge, risk taking and reflection. When we combine the spark of inquiry with hands-on experience and the precision of critical thought, we create thinkers who are not only prepared for the world, but capable of changing it.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum at Soaring High Academy is designed to facilitate the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth and development of each child. We offer an inquiry-based approach where questioning and problem solving are valued at the heart of all learning. Students explore, question, participate in hands-on investigation, collaborate, build self-reliance, learn regulation skills and begin to construct critical thinking skills. Our integrated curriculum positivity connects how learning happens in the real world, providing your child to develop a strong foundation of academics, executive functions, social-emotional skills, and practical life skills.
Our Learning Environments
Soaring High Academy provides nurturing and safe environments that foster creativity, curiosity and a love for learning through children actively asking questions, problem solving and hands-on experiences.
Our Academy is set on a spacious, country property . Our learning environments consist of outdoor and indoor spaces. The outdoor environment space is utilized for a variety of learning purposes such as gross motor activities, team building, cooperative games, caring for farm animals and nature based learning. A large portion of our days are spent outdoors, bringing our learning resources and materials along side us, we embrace nature and all it has to offer. Our indoor classroom set up is designed to encourage independence, collaboration, and hands-on investigation. With flexible layouts, interest areas, open-ended materials, provocations for curiosity, and spaces for documentation, our environment is set to enrich student-centered, inquiry learning.
Director/Educator
Our Director and Educator at Soaring High Academy is passionate about working with children, flexible and adaptable, respectful, compassionate and dedicated to lifelong learning. With inquiry learning, her role shifts from an instructor to a facilitator. She asks open-ended questions, provide resources and co-creates learning experiences with the students, rather than providing answers. She is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with years of experience working in the SCDSB and in child care. She is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and is dedicated to transforming the classroom into a space of discovery and wonder. Her focus is providing students with the tools and experiences to build a strong foundation in learning, while ensuring they leave the classroom feeling empowered, curious and confident.

Little Thinker Buddies & Co!
Driven by curiosity, discovery, and meaningful, hands-on learning, this program is designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in fun, impactful ways.
Every Monday and Friday morning from November 2026- March 2027, our "Little Thinkers" will step into our warm learning environment to practice and begin to learn independence, early math, science and literacy skills with hands-on activities, nature and outdoor learning, and more!

Barnyard Buddies & Co!
Love on Goats & Bunnies, Hear a Story, and Make a Craft!
Here is what your 90-minute adventure includes
- Storytime: Cozy up for an engaging, kid-friendly book reading to kick off the fun.
- Music & Movement: Shake out those sillies with fun songs, rhymes, and active movement tailored for little ones!
- Creative Craft: Little hands get to make a fun, themed keepsake to take home.
- Animal Time: Head over to love on, pet, and feed our friendly goats and cuddly bunnies!
Ages: Perfectly designed for ages 2 to 4! Older siblings are welcome to sign up as well.
Younger Siblings Welcome: Non-participating younger siblings under 2 are free!
Important Note: This is a parent/caregiver-accompanied program. Caregivers must stay and participate with their children for the duration of the event.

Our summer camps provide children with hands-on learning through fun, engaging activities.
Cost- $230 per week (Monday-Friday) 9 am to 4 pm.
*Preschool Camp (ages 3 to 5) $140 per week (Monday to Friday) 9 am to 1 pm.

Our Camp Day
Our camp days are designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in fun, impactful ways. We incorporate a variety of hands-on activities to activate and engage young minds with outdoor games, team building, arts and crafts, science, stories and music.
Our Camp Environment
Camp is primarily based in our outdoor learning environment which includes a spacious yard, farm animals, shelter house, large deck with picnic tables and playground.
For inclement weather, camp relocates to our indoor classroom style learning environment where activities proceed.
